Terms of Service
Last updated: August 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kairi mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"), provided by Magisk Digital ApS, a company registered in Denmark under CVR no. 46291611 ("Kairi," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Kairi. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Using Kairi
Kairi scores meals, menus, and packaged products against health goals you select (blood pressure, cholesterol, and/or blood sugar), and provides AI-generated recipes, vitals tracking, medication reminders, supplement guidance, and related features to support everyday management of those goals. You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose, to provide accurate information, and not to misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Not medical advice
Kairi is designed to support everyday management of blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar, and general food understanding. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for the advice of a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider. Fit scores, vitals trends, Smart Swaps, and supplement guidance are educational and directional, not a clinical assessment. Always consult a qualified professional with questions about a medical condition, medication, or specific dietary need — including before acting on anything in the app — and before starting any new supplement. In a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately; Kairi is not designed or intended for emergency use.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for any activity under your account. Please let us know right away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time — see our Account Deletion page for how.
Subscriptions and billing
Kairi may offer an optional paid tier ("Kairi Plus"), which may include a free trial period. Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play, including renewal, pricing, and cancellation — we do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds ourselves. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings; cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged for the next period.
User content
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as food photos, saved recipes, or logged data, but grant us a limited license to process it as needed to provide the Service — for example, to analyze a food photo or calculate a fit score. You're responsible for what you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.
Content accuracy
We work to keep food, nutrition, and product information accurate and up to date, but nutrition data can vary by source, recipe, and preparation, and third-party databases we rely on (such as Open Food Facts) may themselves contain errors. Kairi cannot guarantee that every insight, score, or swap suggestion will be complete or error-free for every product or meal.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes another person's rights; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; interfere with the Service's operation; or use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service without our written permission.
Intellectual property
The Kairi name, logo, and related branding, and the app and website's design and underlying code, are the property of Magisk Digital ApS and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.
Third-party services
The Service uses or links to third-party services, including Google Firebase, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, Open Food Facts, and TheMealDB, and integrates with the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magisk Digital ApS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any health-related decisions made based on information in the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using Kairi at any time by uninstalling the app or deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
