Make food the easy part For you with high blood pressure, high cholesterol or diabetes
Kairi helps you stop overthinking every meal, and makes it easy to manage the diet for your condition
Developed in Denmark
Eating for your health shouldn't be complicated
Deciding what to eat, cooking it, shopping for it, and watching what it does to your numbers. Kairi runs all four, for the condition you actually have
Four ways to scan
In the supermarket
Scan the barcode, or type the product
By name
No packaging, no camera. Just type the dish
Your plate
Photograph what is in front of you
A whole menu
One photo, every dish on it ranked for you
Get the dish scored before you eat
Scan a dish, a menu or a barcode. The dish gets a score from 1 to 10 for each condition you manage
Small changes that fit the dish to you
When you scan a dish, Kairi suggests the small adjustments that bring it closer to your goals
You don't have to give up your favorite dishes
Kairi gives you recipes that fit your condition, so you can still enjoy the dishes you love most
Every dish on the menu, ranked
One photo of the menu and Kairi tells you which dish is the best pick, so eating out is a choice rather than a guess
Plan the week in one sitting
Fill the week from the recipes you have saved
Log it and export
Blood pressure, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, glucose and HbA1c in seconds, your trend month over month, and a PDF of all of it for your next appointment
Get reminded to take your medication
Set a reminder for blood pressure and cholesterol medication, for the supplements you actually take, and for logging today's reading
Good to know
Do I have to give up the food I like
No. Kairi is built around substitution rather than restriction: keep the dish and change the parts that are actually costing you, usually the sauce, the bread, or the fat content of the meat. Swaps that move a score show the points they add, so you can do the two worth doing and skip the rest. Some carry nothing, and a dish with every swap applied still lands roughly where it lands. The app shows you that ceiling rather than pretending otherwise
What does the score mean
Each condition you manage gets its own score out of 10, read off what actually drives it: sodium for blood pressure, saturated fat for cholesterol, and the worst of carbohydrate load, sugars and glycaemic index for blood sugar. One dish can be fine for one of your conditions and poor for another, and you see both rather than an average that hides it
Where do the thresholds come from
Two different places, and the difference matters. The blood pressure zones use home-measurement thresholds from the Danish Lægehåndbogen, and home readings sit lower than surgery readings, so a grade shown here is not the same measurement your doctor takes. The food scores are ours: a scale built for everyday decisions, not a clinical instrument
Which conditions does Kairi cover
Blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar or diabetes. You pick one or more when you set the app up. You can log blood pressure, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, glucose and HbA1c
Does Kairi replace medical advice
No. Kairi is not a medical device and does not diagnose. It supports everyday management alongside your doctor, and the PDF export exists to make that appointment more useful, not to skip it. Never change your medication based on this app
What if a scan gets something wrong
Scoring depends on the detail available, so a result may occasionally need adjusting. You can change the portion size, search for the item directly, or add detail to refine it
What happens to my data
It lives on servers in the EU. We do not sell it and we never use it to target advertising. Delete your account inside the app and all of it goes immediately
Which languages
English and Danish. Store links go live as each listing is published
Kairi is not a medical device and does not diagnose. It supports your care alongside a doctor or dietitian rather than replacing one, and you should never change your medication based on this app
